Welcome to Kins Photographic! We're delighted to have you here. Our terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations that govern your use of our services. By engaging with us, you agree to adhere to these terms, which ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
These terms cover various aspects, including but not limited to bookings, cancellations, payments, and the use of our imagery. We encourage you to read through them carefully to fully understand your rights and responsibilities.

Image Usage Licence
Upon full payment, the client is granted an exclusive, global licence to use the images produced during the shoot for promoting their brand only, across print and digital platforms. This includes usage on websites, social media, brochures, and advertising materials for a period of 4 years. Additional costs will be due to use the images after this period.
Note: The client does not have the right to sell the images or transfer usage rights to third parties without prior written consent from Kins Photographic.
Copyright and Usage by Kins Photographic
The copyright for all images remains the exclusive property of Kins
Photographic. We retain the right to use any images from the shoot for self-promotion, including across print, website, and social media platforms. If the client has objections to this usage, they must notify Kins Photographic in writing prior to the shoot.
Booking and Payments
Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking. The deposit will be deducted from the total fees. If the deposit is not received, Kins Photographic reserves the right to release the booking date to other clients.
Payment Schedule
25% deposit upon booking confirmation.
Remaining 75% of the balance is due on the day of the photoshoot.
The shoot will not proceed unless full payment is received by the day of the shoot.
Client Cancellations
More than 7 days’ notice: The 25% deposit will be forfeited, but no further payments will be required.
Within 7 days of the shoot: 50% of the total shoot fee will be charged, including the 25% deposit. If the remaining 25% has not yet been paid, it will be invoiced.
Within 48 hours of the shoot: 100% of the total shoot fee will be charged, including the 25% deposit. Any unpaid balance up to the full fee will be invoiced.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling is allowed with at least 7 days’ notice, subject to availability.
Rescheduling requests made within 7 days of the shoot will incur a surcharge of £500, added to the final balance.
Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the shoot are subject to a surcharge of £1,200.
All fees and surcharges are designed to cover costs incurred due to changes and ensure a smooth scheduling process.
Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
Provide necessary information and access to locations.
Ensure all approvals are in place to facilitate the shoot.
Maintain a safe and accessible environment for the photographer and team.
Artistic Licence
Kins Photographic is granted complete artistic licence in relation to the poses, lighting, composition, and editing style of the images. RAW files will not be supplied.
Turnaround Times
Standard delivery of edited images is within 5-15 business days following the shoot. A delivery schedule will be agreed upon before pre-production starts. In the event of delays, Kins Photographic will communicate a new delivery date.
Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify and hold Kins Photographic harmless from
any legal claims or liabilities arising from the use of the images or any incidents at the shoot location beyond the photographer’s control.
Reshoot Clause
A reshoot may be offered at the photographer’s discretion. If reshoots are requested due to issues beyond Kins Photographic’s control, additional fees may apply.
Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure, Kins Photographic will reschedule the shoot and apply any deposits to the new date.
Additional Hours
If the shoot exceeds the booked time, additional hours will be charged at £250 per hour. The client will be informed of extra charges before they are incurred.
Travel and Accommodation Costs
Travel within Greater London and Sussex is included in quoted rates. For shoots outside these areas, travel and accommodation costs will be included in the overall quote provided to the client.
Backup and Storage
Final edited images will be stored for 4 years following delivery. After this period, the client is responsible for archiving the images.
Agreement to Terms
By engaging Kins Photographic, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. Any objections to these terms must be notified in writing before the shoot takes place.
